Master Tonberry Dragoon
Fuku:
Primary color - Brown
Secondary color - Yellow
Headband: A pretty simple green headband worn around Master Tonberry Dragoon's
forehead. I'm sorry, but I couldn't think of anything better. ^_^;
Henshin Materia: Master Tonberry Summon, the happy little purple ball with a cute
lizardy guy in it.
Henshin: "Master Tonberry Eidolon Power! Summons!"
Justice reaches forward, saying his henshin phrase. The ground below him
ripples, then a big black hole opens up. Green sparklies spiral up out of the
hole, wrapping around Justice, who becomes a yellow silhouette. The sparklies
become a column around him for a moment, then disperse to show Master Tonberry
Dragoon in fuku. His lantern and knife appear as yellow glows in his outstretched
hands, then fade to their more solid forms. At the end, Master Tonberry Dragoon
stands much the same as he does in his ending pose, with his right arm pulled
closer to him and looking a bit embarrassed to be in his ridiculous getup.
Challenge:
His general opening words in battle are, "AAARRRGH! Stupid joints!" although I'm
not sure that counts... ^_^; Master Tonberry Dragoon's pretty quiet most of the
time, when he's not complaining about his arthritis; he prefers to just walk up and
beat the enemy down (more or less) rather than waste time talking about who he is
and why he's doing it.
Weapon: Master Tonberry Dragoon has two weapons... er, "items," actually- a large
copper lantern in his left hand, and your average kitchen knife in his right. The
knife is the actual weapon, although Tonberry probably COULD bean someone with the
lantern...
Power:
"Everyone's Grudge"
Master Tonberry Dragoon walks toward the target, taking whatever damage it
throws at him. As Tonberry accumulates damage, his lantern glow begins to change
color from orange to green. When he reaches the enemy, he prods it with his knife.
The prodded area glows green for a moment, then an amount of damage proportional
to whatever Tonberry received is inflicted on the target and the lantern goes back
to normal. There's no real energy limit to this; it's instead limited by how much
punishment Master Tonberry Dragoon can take in one battle. Also, it's reasonably
easy to dodge, since Tonberry's loathe to go faster than a walk, although he's very
persistent, so an enemy that knows enough to stay out of his way will find itself
running in circles all over the battlefield.
Guardian: Cid.
