Okay so today…er… yesterday was the first day at Ohayocon 2010.
It’s pretty good so far, but as always a bit weird. (For example for the last hour I was hanging out with a bunch of people that were stroking a box. Yes, a cardboard box. Was pretty cool though oddly enough.)
The first event I actually attended at all was I guess the one that Basil had been asked to do, the panel Kevin was supposed to help out with but decided to stay home instead, the Tsundere Panel. It went pretty well though all things considered.
The second thing we attended was the ‘roast’ of the guests. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t exactly the most entertaining thing in my opinion. I think that the following event, Anime Hell, was much better. Much much better. (Then again, few things top Anime Hell.)
Then I went to the rave, and by this time it was 2:30 am. I had a blast but now my feet are sore.
Then I went and hung out around ‘the box’ for a while and now I’m here.
So all things considered, it’s been good so far.
Tomorrow, I plan on going and wandering around the dealers’ room and seeing if there is anything I can’t do without from there, and of course I’m going to take plenty of pictures so that everyone can see what it looks like here. (And gaze upon awesome (and horribly funny) cosplay.)

With that said, I hope this year will be a good one, and hopefully we can revive some of the enthusiasm that the club seems to be lacking lately.
So look forward to an Xtra every month (I hope), starting next month, February; Along with the other club activities besides the weekly meeting.

This Saturday (08/02/2008) Will be Mario Kart for the Wii! Remotes and Nunchucks will be there, if you want Gamecube Controllers or WiiWheels, bring your own! Cost of entry is $3, with the usual Deep gift cards as prizes.
The 2008 HAAS Planetarium Night Extra aka “HAAS in SPACE!” will be held at the Von Braun Astronomical Society’s
planetarium, on Friday, August 22nd at 7 PM.
I’ve uploaded a bunch of photos today. Current-ish HAAS, last year’s Xmas Party, and a bunch of older photos from way back when we are first getting started! You can check them all out in our new section: Imagery
Just finished updating the site. I think I got everything the way it should be. Threw up some photos to test the Image Gallery stuff, and it works! That’s cool. Also updated the sidebar that tells us when the next Xtra and tournament are supposed to be. I’ll probably make a more updated post about it tomorrow.
… Maybe.
This is going to yet again the new site of HAAS. It’s designed as a blog so that the latest infos will always appear front and center!
